Food is OK but the place is rather untidy and awful selection of beers when the next pub have an amazing choice?!

With its warm wood interior and cosy atmosphere La Ribera offers a wide selection of dishes and a really well structured wine list. Prompt service smart staff and beautifully cooked piping hot food and reasonable pricing makes this place great for a special occasion with a group or as a regular favourite. Everything a nice little restaurant by the river should be.

Really good spot to chill by the river. The food was good. Service was good. We liked the spainish music playing outside the give you that feeling of being abroad.

Wow - the staff are FANTASTIC - from the Kitchen to the bar staff including Curtis the manager of the garden bar - Who is very hot - so you have to go and check him out as well as the wine bar.Great indoor/outdoor seating - Dog friendly and they sell ice cream's also.Parking - free on road and car park nearby.

A celebratory meal. The restaurant matched our expectations. Helpful staff and and quick service.Tapas was sensational in quality and flavour and the setting was clean and comfortable.Great range of Gins. Not sure about allowing drinkers to sit at the bar. They tended to dominate the room

A wonderful restaurant with very friendly staff, John & Tracy (the owners) were courteous and made us feel welcome. The restaurant (now named the Ribera) is in a great spot on the River Wye with pleasant views. The food was exceptional and I can honestly say the Sunday roast was the best I have ever tasted and I do not give compliments like that away lightly. We actually dined here three days in a row! We will certainly be returning.

Great place for a drink and snack with friendly staff and great views of the river Wye and cliffs. The castle is close by as well. Well worth time out here especially when the weather is a bit kinder.

Poor service, very slow and different prices for the same drinks. Not able to order food although only around 4 tables eating.interesting on a Friday night that the manager/owner can afford to be sat down eating and drinking with friends. We were 1 group of about 4 others who were told they couldn't order food due to it being too busy. We would expect after being closed for so long due to Covid ,they would be really keen and eager to give great service and get some money through the tills. Interesting that they are promoting their planing permission to improve the place, I really think that it's not the premises that needs improvement, but the customer experience. Will not be recommending or visiting again.

Lovely drinks and great food really good portions. The Pims pitcher is a MUST in the summer time! Great service, even though the football was on outside, the staff were checking on us inside. Only thing I will say is the menu is VERY limited and didn’t have everything advertised as online. Bit of a shame but we still had a great time!

Very nice Sunday lunch. Plenty of tasty beef and lots of vegetables, crispy Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and delicious parsnips. Too full for desert!!
