Stayed the night as up for a funeral. The room was a lovely size, and the shower was lovely. Staff seemed friendly and helpful.Downside....the light fixtures were hanging out. There was mould in the window and by the skirting boards in the corner. I was only there for 1 night and didn't realise till late at night, so I didn't bother to complain but would have thought the cleaners should pick up on this. Oh and got woken up by the water pouring off the scaffolding against the window....Food & drinks: Brewers fayre next door. Food is cheap and cheerful. Tasty, clean and staff are lovely.

Had a group down at the weekend who had unfortunately forgotten to book a room for the drivers. Hotel staff were amazing watching for a cancellation as we needed two nights stay but they were fully booked for second night which we got. Difficulties arose when the coach broke down in the car park and we needed to book a further two nights for ourselves, the staff were friendly, warm and I feel like when we left we had about half a dozen new friends.Also the rooms were lovely and clean and the beds were so comfortable. As a coach driver we have been in loads of hotels but the beds here were so comfortable that except for one night (stressed beyond maximum) we slept really well. The hotel was really quiet and well placed (4 minute walk) to get a train into Cardiff central for just a few quid. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

Was so good the first time we stayed we returned for a second time. Wonderful polite and welcoming staff (special thanks to Karen and Tracy for being so helpful ?) great location for access to Bannau Brycheiniog and all the activities South Wales has to offer. Loads of parking . Comfy beds well maintained rooms you can't go wrong

We stayed her as I was competeing in the Titan triathlon starting at Parc Bryn Bach a few miles away.The check in and out process is quick and easy. The ladies on the front desk were lovely, they got us in to eat at the busy restaurant next door even thought they told us it was fully booked.The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Just what I needed with an 8 hour race ahead.It was also fantastic to come back afterwards, soaked to skin and just soak in the bath. Then flake out on the bed for an hour to recover.Looking forward to returning next year ?Rooms: Very clean and comfortable

Very good hotel. We stayed 3 nights at hotel. They provided very Good service. Good housekeeping service. Special thanks goes to Cath Sharkey and front office staff. Good food as well. Will come back to stay in this beautiful hotel next year as well..

With Premier Inn you usually get what you pay for. We have used Premier Inns for many years - including long-term stays - but Ebbw Vale is poor. There appear to be no local facilities , other than the Brewers Fayre -the only option if you want to eat. We ventured there but decided not to eat, not because of menu choices or food quality, but simply because in an area with around 8 tables, all but one was cluttered with the remains of the previous patrons food and drink. We stayed for a drink and sat at the only detritus free, sticky, dirty table. Returned to hotel to eat snacks we’d packed for our long drive. When we tried to watch TV ( a very limited choice of channels) the reception was constantly interrupted with pixelations and complete loses. Glad to leave the following morning…to find a decent breakfast.

My first time staying at a premier Inn, so a blank slate. Convenient location for me, working air conditioning. That's all for the positives. Dirty bathroom, furniture that was on the last legs and food that was the same as supermarkets they own quality. Would I stay there again, maybe on the hot summer day for that air conditioning, otherwise I would be going elsewhere.
My nephew booked to stay here on 1st July to attend my wedding. He booked on line and accidentally booked 2 nights, He was unable to amend the booking (they’d managed to take his money) online and when he explained to reception what had happened they refused to refund the second night. There is no way he could have stayed as he and his partner had work and the children had school on Monday. Overall very disappointed. I recommend that all my family stayed there for the wedding but won’t be recommending the Premier Inn ever again .

Stayed at Ebbw vale premier inn last night.Lovely warm welcome when my friends and I arrived. The lady on reception was really nice.We were even allowed to store our bikes in the rooms before heading on to Bike Park Wales.The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, the meal deal was excellent value and I will definitely be staying there again ??

Excellent location; clean rooms. The staff is really helpful and cooperative. There is lots of parking spots, and the restaurant had great food. I've had some negative impressions from other Premeir Inn's, but this place is excellent.

Room was clean and functional, shower lovely, receptionist was great and he always was polite, welcoming and friendly.Nearby activities: Morgans is a must for food, drink, and service, used to live nearby and our neighbours and my late hubby loved going here.

Stay at ebbw vale often with work. Beds are really comfy rooms are a little dated could do with a lick of paint to be honest, as a night worker there can be a little noise in day the from the cleaners which can't be helped I guess, reception staff at check in are really welcoming but to be honest the night girls who iv seen often are more then happy to go out their way for you no matter what time of night including putting fresh bedding on and still have banter and a smile at 4 am in the morning hasn't gone a miss from Rachel and steff. Thanks ebbw vale for being my home from home every other week
