The Castle Inn

Stayed here for a night recently. Booked through booking.com

Was no breakfast on offer and didn't see any food etc on offer for Saturday or Sunday.

Bar was open but closed 8pm Saturday night.

Room was fine and plenty of parking. Quiet location and would suit people staying one or two nights if eating elsewhere. Theres a great fish and chips shop not far away and the usual selection of fast food outlets in the area.

The Hobby Horse

Had a great night out, totally relaxed atmosphere.
Food was the perfect size portion, atmosphere was great and the service was brilliant, couldn't ask for better. Would definitely recommend and would return for another night out.

Bridgend Inn

Recently had Sunday lunch at the Bridgend Inn on two separate occasions. Food was superb, service could not have been better and very reasonably priced. Caters for gluten free too. Definitely going there again soon.

Premier Inn Ebbw Vale hotel

Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean. Access for disabled at main entrance was very good with automatic opening doors. Could do with a plug socket and USB C at each side of the bed.
Definetly recommended.

Shane's Fish Bar.

Shane's Chippy is the best around, by far, sounds like an old cliche but I say it with conviction, The warmers are always fully stocked up with a variety of sides, chips are absolutely amazing with a very generous portion! The prices are incredibly low and the staff are just so absolutely friendly with nothing being an effort, go there once and you'll never go anywhere again! A chippy with the rarity of having a passion for what they do!

Nans Cafe

£8 for this breakfast! It does come with other things black pudding and mushrooms etc but as I don’t like them I was allowed to swap and have extra sausage bacon etc

Amazing food, very tasty, very clean place to eat, really nice staff, very very happy with this breakfast and will deffo go back there when I’m next in Blaina, gave the plate back white which the staff member laughed and said that’s a compliment in itself. great and fantastic breakkie just what me and my colleagues needed on a Friday morning.

Food is great! Shop is great, service is great. But opening times are terrible, by the time I finish work it’s never open. If this was open longer I would come here daily.

Had a problem with the first order but was solved in the second order the owner was so apologetic we ordered again the second time and the food is outstanding it taste absolutely delicious full of flavour pipping hot was not disappointed the food is just outstanding can’t wait to order again .

The Picture House - JD Wetherspoon

Went in on a Saturday evening from 5 till about 7, had some food and the rugby was on, which gave the place a very vibrant and loud atmosphere, which was great. Food was brilliant, quick to come out the kitchen, and staff very helpful and good natured.

The White Lion

Have only been a couple of times so unable to give 5* @ present. Felt welcomed on both occasions, prices are good and staff friendly. Was told bad things about it, but can only say good things myself. Personally The only odd thing was the look of the place, the name to me suggests old country pub, fireplace and cosy. The look was more like an (updated) social centre but proud to call it my local.

Greggs

Great range of fresh sandwiches and baguettes. Along with the freshly baked pasties /sausage rolls etcThe staff here are what gives this place that extra special touch , always service with a smile ? A* Definitely recommend

Always busy here, as with most Greggs sites. The ladies are mostly happy to help and polite. You get what you pay for, inexpensive food and drinks at a reasonable standard. The cleanliness was to a good standard, infact a member of staff was wiping down tables whilst I was there. 5 stars for my last visit, picking up a flat white, before a haircut.

Sundo

Had chinese from here for the first time, and they smashed it out of the park. Food was delivered on time with a polite lady, everything was boiling hot and the taste on everything was phenomenal ? it's a 10 out of 10 for us this will definitely be our go too,from now on amazing thank you ?

Peking Town

We tried several other local Chinese take away whilst peking town was shut for holidays. Not one matched the quality, service and flavour of peking. Would not order a Chinese from anywhere else’s

Cafe Lazeez

The mixed shawarma with naan and fries was so good, I had it 2 nights in a row. The homemade sauces take it to another level. The staff are super friendly and put every effort into ensuring you have the best dining experience. Will definitely eat here again if I'm back in the areaDietary restrictions: Everything is suitable for a Halal diet

Victoria Park Brewers Fayre

For those ₩ho love to dine out regular but have a ¥oung family n this is the Restaurant/Pub to frequent! As this place has a built in designed'Play Area'for children!Also,pick up a loyalty card to attain even more bargain meal discounts! Delicious Sunday carvery a little on the expensive side unless have more than 1 child! Generous Buffet display of meat & veg! ¥orkshire Pudding & Gravies shud b awarded ☆☆☆☆☆!

Domino's Pizza - Ebbw Vale

Positive experience. Ordered 8 pizzas for a business meeting lunch. Ordered online, called in and confirmed a collection time to suit my needs. No complaints at all, service was great, pizzas well cooked and tasty. I reserve 5* for outstanding, so 4* reflects a good experience and good service.

Ebbw Vale Southern Fried Chicken

I always order take away from this shop. I Ordered food last night, it was delivered late as they were very busy but the food was hot and delicious. My favourite place to get a cheeky kebab.

Kim's Kitchen

WOW! I've had many takeaways in my time ? but I had one delivered yesterday from "Kim's kitchen .I must say !! this was the best I've ever had ?Honestly it was amazing . Was still hot when arrived & portions were very generous . Regarding the prices ,that was great to .5⭐'s to this business .I will defo recommend ,and will always be ordering from Kim's kitchen .Thankyou so much ??

Flames Kebab

Excellent meal, Very filling. The staff are extremely helpful, it would be a pleasure to get food from Flames Kebab, next time i'm in town.My meal consisted of a Chicken Wrap, Chips and a Can of Pop. Thanks.Parking: Parked in the small car park near the petrol station, short walk away from the shop.

Kung Fu Takeaway

Just had special fried rice and chicken balls with bbq sauce tray and a sausage and chips. Portions was massive and was amazing definitely will be ordering again

KFC Ebbw Vale - Waun y Pond Road

Always hot with well seasoned chips and good portions. I'm used to KFC not being very consistent in some places but Ebbw Vale always gives out the best. Great customer service as well!

McDonald's
