Stayed the night as up for a funeral. The room was a lovely size, and the shower was lovely. Staff seemed friendly and helpful.Downside....the light fixtures were hanging out. There was mould in the window and by the skirting boards in the corner. I was only there for 1 night and didn't realise till late at night, so I didn't bother to complain but would have thought the cleaners should pick up on this. Had a group down at the weekend who had unfortunately forgotten to book a room for the drivers. Hotel staff were amazing watching for a cancellation as we needed two nights stay but they were fully booked for second night which we got. Difficulties arose when the coach broke down in the car park and we needed to book a further two nights for ourselves, the staff were friendly, warm and I feel like when we left we had about half a dozen new friends.Also the rooms were lovely and...read full review
