Over night motorhome stopover. Random find on our way to visit family in Gowerton and we struck lucky. We arrived without ringing ahead as we were so close when the weather helped us decide to stop! The manager could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was fully booked, so we could eat at 5, 8:30 or eat at a table in the bar, which is what we chose to do. This is our second visit as a family with a toddler for a Sunday roast, and it's been wonderful both times. They offer smaller portions for children, which is a great plus. The food is not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The quality is consistently high. My partner and I booked to have a meal here following it being recommended by the Level Inn, where we were staying. The food was absolutely sublime and exceptional value for money. I had the salt and chilli pork belly and can honestly say it was the best meal out I've had all year.The place was well decorated and had a nice ambience, the staff were also very friendly. Would definitely recommend this pub and will certainly be revisiting next time I'm in the area.
