Had an excellent lunch here - came across the cafe by chance when on a walk. I had a smoked chicken baguette and we took some cake away with us to eat later. That was also very good.
Stopped here for lunch, half way through a walk. We were greeted in a friendly way, and told what the choices were for lunch. We could have baguettes, made from the bread made on the premises, or hot pasties, or sausage rolls, or black pudding rolls. I chose a smoked salmon roll, and my husband had a smoked chicken roll, and we both had large coffee. All was excellent, and I bought some fruit cake to eat later. This was also excellent. What a magical place to stay. The rooms are beautiful and clearly have been newly decorated and fitted. The cafe serves brilliant coffees, cakes, sausage rolls, quiches, freshly baked bread, sandwhiches. Perfect for picnics before you head out into the breacon beacons to explore. Highly recommend!
