Visited this very well known valley pub earlier this year! Quite a welcome change from the horrible Harp Inn, where I had frequented some months before The last time I had visited this pub, was about 20 years ago when I lived in Penpedairheol. Having moved back to the area after living in Cardiff, thought that a visit to sample the food and spend some time alone would be good. I wasn’t wrong. Me and my partner had sunday dinner on 26/02/23 we loved it my partner had soup i had garlic mushroom both startets where great i had beef and gamon my partner had turkey and beef plenty of veg all lovely. nice gravy and roast spuds where crispy we enjoyed so much we booked for next suday
