The Catch at Cobbles

Not even funny. I spent a week in Porthcawl sampling chips, ok so that wasn't the reason for the trip but I have something of a liking for the potato goodness. Our last day and we did a little trip out to Cowbridge and on the way back we stopped at Ogmore. Cobbles is on the main road from there to Porthcawl. Don't drive past.
Local potatoes sourced for quality not just proximity, cooked in beef tallow with skin on and the results are ace.
The best chips of the week by a country mile, also the least expensive, piping hot and the staff are really passionate about the food.
I may not have tried the fish, but the chips were worth the 30 mile round trip petrol alone.
Whoever masterminded this, I thank you from the bottom of my stomach, well played!
