Llanbedrog, PwllheliWe’ve been twice now and both times the food and service has been first class.
We visited yesterday for the charcuterie boards and wines and it was delicious. The matched wines were very reasonably priced and expertly explained too.
We had some car issues whilst visiting (which ended up running into the following day) and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, friendly and supportive. They really went the extra mile and it was much appreciated. Thank you!
Really really recommend this place. I haven’t even mentioned the views…

Plas Glyn y Weddw Gallery
Llanbedrog, PwllheliWonderful art gallery and I would have given 5 stars but it was very disorganised today. Impossible to pay for parking via app as there is no adequate phone signal. The cafe is beautiful and has great food, but it was overcrowded and impossible to figure out the system of how to get a table. If it's full I suggest finding a member of staff and asking how to get a table via the complex waiting list system... The painting is the gallery are wonderful, varied and impressive, and with free entry it's a must see. Well worth paying the £5 parking to stay over 2 hours. In spite of a sign saying that the footpaths are open, the best path is not. Well worth leaving the car in the car park and walking down the road to the beautiful Llanbedrog beach.

Abersoch, PwllheliGroup of 5. This was the worst experience we have had in any cafe we’ve been to in years and years. One of us wanted avocado but it came with 2 poached eggs which they wanted to swap for mushrooms. No way would he do that. Dreadful atmosphere during breakfast. He asked if it was all to go on the same bill which we said yes because it’s what we always do. Each of us works out the amount it comes to and we all pay separately plus tip. It was mostly going to be cash with a couple paying by card. He was furious when we came to pay saying why can’t one of you pay the total amount and that he had already asked if we wanted to order separately.
Needless to say we all then paid using 5 cards (no cash and no tip)
