We always make a point of visiting Penygawse when we come to Llandovery. Alun and his team are very attentive. The all-day breakfast is very very filling.Walkability: In the centre of Llandovery, about two minutes from the castle carpark, on the main road, but with a separate sitting area out the back that's a real sun trap .Food & drinks: Gluten free options are available. Great service and really good coffee! full English was good and a great size for the price. the homemade quiche and scotch eggs looked really good also. Only slight complaint was the full English was a tad to oily especially how the mushrooms were cooked but apart from that all good!

A little busy on a Wednesday morning at 9.30 on the main thoroughfare through Llandovery lol. However, we did want to sit outside though as it was such a pleasant morning. Inside is cosy and welcoming as an alternative.Breakfast before our journey back home after spending a few days in our motorhome.Light veggie breakfast was tasty and plenty of it…coffee was great! Staff friendly and efficient.Will visit again when next in Llandover, for sure!
