1 High St, LlandoveryI don't normally do reviews but on this occasion it was needed. This little pub serves outstanding food. Never will a chicken kiev taste the same brought from a supermarket. It was outstanding chef indicated it was his first attempt as a new dish. If you're in the area it's a must try. Hubby had steak he said it was cooked perfectly. Two very happy tourists from Kent.

12 High St, LlandoveryCame across the cafe as we drove through the village to visit the castle (beautiful by the way).
Decided to pop to the cafe as we fancied a coffee and what a great choice.
My Mum had a decaf coffee and it was so smooth and tasty. Loved hearing from the owner about the focus they have on decaf, as important to a coffee drinker he says. They have a focus on sourcing quality beast which they grind in store and want people to enjoy ☕
The cake, delightful. All made in-house. The best we have tasted, the frosting I loved.
Definitely worth a stop.

Owls Nest Tea Room Diner
Lower Rd, LlandoveryA little gem hidden away in the back roads of Llandovery. Worth a little look and a hot drink food looked and smelt delightful, a bit pricey for the cakes( for me) but then again I don't eat cake. Lovely young lady serving, calm peaceful atmosphere with biker merchandise ( souvenirs) a little on the cold side while having a cuppa but you get used to the temp quickly as it becomes busy. I will definitely be returning. ?

6 High St, LlandoveryGreat find on our run down to Swansea... Lovely friendly helpful staff. Great fresh food. Nice clean sit down area that really surprises you with a bar too. Deffinatly will make this a pot stop on our regular trip south.

Myddfai Community Hall & Visitor Centre
Myddfai, LlandoveryBeautiful place, well informed history of the site. Attended for a wedding, couldn't believe how nicely it was laid out both on the inside and outside. Well done to everyone involved in the myddfai community centre

Tudors Cafe
6 Kings Rd, LlandoveryNice and friendly cafe with quick service. Food was nice and reasonably priced, we had tuna cheese panini, chips, salad for £9.00 each. Coffee £3.00.
Only feedback I’d give is that the menus were dirty, the sauces were blocked, and staff uniform was dirty (maybe wear overalls)
Still I’d recommend and go back.

A40, LlandoveryThe cafe here has a range of tasty food - cooked breakfast if you want it, freshly made substantial sandwiches if you don't. My sandwich came with a dressed fresh salad and crisps. Full marks. The cake was gorgeous - far better than I've had elsewhere ( Victoria sponge - since you ask). But above all, the staff were friendly, accommodating, helpful and efficient. You might well infer from this that this was the best cafe I came across during my recent trip around Wales. It was.
Why ? Because politeness without a good outcome is unsatisfactory, and it's not much use being served politely if the food itself is poor. But this cafe was excellent.
on all fronts.
(And for the avoidance of doubt - I go to a lot of cafés ! )

Miz Spice
34-36 High St, LlandoveryWe ate here on a tuesday night & were the only customers. No music etc so was lacking atmosphere.
The food was absolutely wonderful..another level from standard Indian, wonderful use of spice. We had starters, mains, couple of rices, naan bread & Cobra beers. We would highly recommend eating here, all of it was delicious.

The Mayflower
21 High St, LlandoveryWe live nearly two hours away but willingly make the journey for a take away as the Mayflower is easily the best we have tried. Consistently good food, friendly staff and quick service. I suspect the poor reviews are from rivals as they do not reflect this restaurant.

Kings Rd, LlandoveryMe and the husband regularly visit here and really enjoy our time here. Food is amazing and service is great. Really good quality for your money and we will continue visiting for food!
We don’t stay in rooms as we are local but come just for the great tasting food.

17 Broad St, LlandoveryCalled here today on way home, 1st time visiting after a disappointing breakfast and service that stopped me from calling in again 5 years ago.
Today, totally different, lad behind counter really polite.
Chef all smiles when he dropped off a free sample of toasted roll. So light and buttery
I had the perfect 10/10 breakfast bap.
Inc fried potato.
Partner just had toast and commented on how nice the toast/butter was.
Mug of Tea, spot on ?
They also doing a deal of
£10 off total order over £35.
We will be definitely calling in again on our way to and from West Wales.
