I went for Christmas dinner with friends, which had been booked in advance. Pemberton Beefeater was very busy with every table occupied. We had to wait for a table when we arrived, but that was not an issue. Eventually, a table became free, and we all gathered and sat down. Our starters were served. Naturally, everyone had different starters. I had the prawn cocktail, not too bad, but have had better. My husband, son and I had Christmas Day Lunch here and we were all very impressed. (Im not sure what the reviewer below me is on about??) All 3 courses were hot, plentiful and tasty. We had extras of items when asked….gravy, roast potatoes and my husband wanted custard with his Profiteroles, which wasnt a problem. We didn’t book a table as it was planned last minute but we went as a table of 6 and thankfully they fitted us in, as they had a few large tables coming in soon. Waitresses were lovely, very helpful and very understanding when my sister (25yo) wanted to order from the children’s menu, which a lot of places don’t allow. Food was fast and absolutely delicious! Everyone enjoyed and everything was just brilliant. Thank you so much for a wonderful visit.
