It's a nice place to go wether your alone or with friends or family, there is usually a pretty good atmosphere and the people that go there friendly, the food is pretty decent and it gets to you in good
Great beers, great prices, but the breakfast food could be a lot lot warmer, service was very very slow, not down to the staff themselves, whom may I add were brilliant, but by the shear number of staff on duty this particular day, a bank holiday weekend ?

York Palace is a great place to meet friends and have a bite to eat and drink.Wheelchair accessibility: The only let down is, the accessibility for wheel chair users isn't very good.It is ok for a wheelchair to get to the bar, and go back down to the seating on the ground floor, but if there isn't anywhere for the wheelchair to fit in, you can't get to the 2nd floor as it is a staircase only.The lift only travels between the ground floor and the first floor.
