We went in for a meal, as there is a lovely pud downstairs and it was really nice. The chap behind the bar was lovely and the food was great. Really recommend stopping in for lunch if your in the area. Well priced and comfy place too
Only had an evening meal but it was excellent. Good value for money too. Didn't wait long but advisable to book as very popular. Good selection of choice for all 3 courses & food very fresh & tasty. Cosy area whilst you wait too.
Back in July.What a pleasant convivial evening in the bar of this lovely little hotel after a run up to Welshpool on the train, and being introduced to Monty's beers, one of which is called Monty's Sunshine! Remember him. World class clarinettist with Chris Barber!Nearby activities: Llanfair & Welshpool Light Railway. 5*
