Great café, friendly helpful staff. Good place to stop after the walks round Dam. Play areas for children.Parking: Some incline from car park.Kid-friendliness: Lots for children to see do.
Only place around the lake to grab a quick bite! The food was ok, we had a bacon cheese on baguette, they served it with some crisps and a chopped tomato and cucumber salad! Good enough to feed yourself before or after the trail walks! Coffee was average like homemade !Kelly Ice cream portions were good! We tried the toffee fudge and blackcurrant!

After a long dog walk on a particularly autumnal feeling March day, we stopped for coffee and a beautiful Banana cake before the drive home. Dogs are welcome and plenty of space inside and out. Do pop in!
