The female driver is amazing she is so friendly it’s unreal but the male driver that has a woman in the car i don't like him he tried charging me a extra £1 on my delivery if you order ask for the female driver to deliver

Taste of India

Food was phenomenal, delivery within 40 minutes. We ordered the Meat Dupiaza and Chicken and Mushroom Bhalti for mains amongst the likes of; poppadoms, bhajis, chutney tray etc, and the quality was very good. Tender meat, and full of flavour. Thank you Taste of India, delicious!

Al's Pizzeria

Al's is a great business with amazing staff and owners!

The menu is a good size and one of the owners, Jo, is always trying to build on the menu and businesses success.

I highly recommend Al's over any other pizza place!

Tesco Cafe

Excellent Cafe with Excellent staff. The service and food is second to none. It is kept very clean and tables are cleared immediately. This cafe is very light and airy and it visited by many locals daily as a meeting point.

Happy Wok

I ordered takeaway and picked it up from here a while ago. It was great! Food was good - tasted just how I expected, portion sizes were good, prices as expected and there were no surprises. Will go again!

Subway

Pros: Staff are very welcoming and will chat as they process your order. Subway coffee is actually decent too.Con: Seating area is tiny as it is situated inside a bargain booze store. Their own store would probably get more foot traffic.

Adhonik Spice Balti & Tandoori

I used to work there for more than 3 months. In the very beginning, I felt like everything in every Indian restaurant may be the same. But Later realized, Not that I believed. Anyway. I tried many Indian cuisines here in Leicester, London, and Birmingham as well. But had never felt the same taste. Their Lamb Curries items were absolutely joss. Thanks to Mohammed Ali Baisab The main Chef who made my days more beautiful and Mr. Ali Sasa the Owner Who was really a friendly and frank guy.

Nice Bite

Never had a bad meal from here. Deliveries are always super fast and food always arrives hot. Best kebab in maesteg!! The guys working there are so friendly and very polite. 5/5 from me?

Express Pizza And Kebab

My wife and I ordered 2 x Medium Mix Doner for 18.50 - I eat every two to three hrs so must eat at specific times, the order was delivered an hour early which was no good for me at all, so I had to eat it cold.Other than the timing being way off the food was excellent, in fact the best Doner mix I have ever eaten, so much so that we both decided to stick to Express for our Kebabs.My ONLY concern is the delivery timing, it must arrive at the time I order it for otherwise it's no good for me and I do not appreciate eating it cold or re-heated, it just is not the same.Dietary restrictions: Not a complaint, just an observation.I do not eat veg, fruit, grains, only meat and egg's so when I order the mix doner meat I was a little surprised to find pitta bread.

Struggled to find a cafe that we liked until now valley cafe is my go to place for breakfast friendly people amazing food excellent portion size and you can substitute for what you like and don't like

The best Chips for miles? The freshly cooked to order cod is lovely (not over battered)other items I've tried sausage, rissoles are of good quality and always piping hot.Staff are polite and friendly. The best traditional take away in the Maesteg area.

Corner House Inn

Just had Sunday lunch here and wanted to review straight away. Excellent customer service, food and value for money. If I had to complain about anything it would be parking is limited but we managed.

Mcnamara Arms

Deceptively large pub. Proper Harry Potter job, enter the small front door and go out into the bar and amazing two level beer garden. Music playing in background and friendly locals. Best of all, landlord makes a point of personally making sure you know you're welcome. Dogs welcome.

Large chips and curry sauce for less than £5 can't say fairer than that and it was LARGE too. Friendly staff. Cash only but that's not too much of an issue.

House special karbab was amazing well worth the £18.20 portion size was massive all the meats in and even the oinion and mushrooms was cooked perfectly thank you

Chanced on Wendell's tonight, what a gem! The banter, the service, the customers and the food were excellent. This is the best, most genuine fish and chip shop that I have ever visited. Highly recommended.

called here on a Saturday morning for a post parkrun feed - had a veggie breakfast and was not disappointed. service was quick, food was tasty and reasonably priced. be aware that it's cash only payment (didn't know til our bellies were full and a bit of drama having no cash or means to get cash out - kindness of a stranger and bank transfer saved the day).

will definitely be going back - but ordering a small version next time ??

This place is by far the best Chinese takeaway in maesteg. The portion size isn't the biggest but its quality above quantity. Had the crispy duck in plumb sauce Cantonese style last night, absolutely delicious.

The Sawyer’s Arms - JD Wetherspoon

Nice experience. Friendly staff. Just let down by lack of jack daniels sauce refill as not prepared to pay £1.75 when all other sauces freely available no extra cost. Bit bizarre. Was a bit freaked out by screens along bar, thought it was a macdonalds impersonation to order your own food which I oppose as I value human interaction and can stay at home, order food on screen cheaper. Anyway, turns out screens are to advertise, bit OTT in my opinion having them all along the bar, think one bigger screen elsewhere would attract more advertising. Call me old fashioned but if I'm walking up to a bar I'm looking at the human about to serve me. Thinking about my food order or what drinks I'm ordering. Any screen under/at the side is a complete waste, dust hazzard/unwarranted but I guess Weatherspoons profits must be good to pay for them all, maybe that explains the expensive JD sauce refill! ?

USA Fried Chicken

Food is amazing by far the best in Maesteg. Chicken, Kebabs, Burgers, Pizzas and even the chips are all really good. The place is clean the staff are friendly and they offer delivery.
