I walked here with my friend, who was having his theory test in a couple hours. We aren't Newportonian. Rather, we're Cardiffian-Asians.Right, the upstairs seating area has air conditioning; it's ice cold. -And stuck on, according to one of the staff members.I see that as a benefit. Walking to this McDonald's; you tend to get quite hot, so air conditioning is an excellent way to cool off, in preparation for a feast.But, back to the point. Although we received a small mistake with our order, the staff member who reported the issue (man with glasses) for us and subsequently the manager came and spoke with us. Talk about great customer service, both gentlemen were very understanding, thoughtful and considerate. Both men did a superb job and are a credit to Mcdonald's. Thank you for a lovely lunchtime eating experience, it was much appreciated.

Long standing establishment, can't fault the service or food. Ice cream machine seems to never have an issue.. can't knock that, can you? ? You do get the odd one or two kids who think it's their personal hang out, but that's to be expected around town..Wheelchair accessibility: No steps into the store, doors aren't automatic however, no entry to upstairs.
