We had Sunday Roasts and It was really tasty and the service was faultless. A gem of a place. We were last here around 25 years ago and it was great to be reacquainted with an old friend. It definitely has not lost any of its charm or integrity.
We had a family meal to celebrate an 80th birthday and it was stunning! Larry catered for every family member (20 of us) and added a personal touch with a message on the board. Staff members and the chef did an amazing job. Food was served with the children’s meals being prepared first (bonus)! The food was hot & desserts were lovely. Drinks were flowing. I've always passed here and never called in... it was such a wonderful pub with an open fire and an amazing pint of Guinness. The landlord was so friendly and my partner and I had a really great time chatting with him. We hope to return soon, the menu looks great ?. Thanks ?.
