The Busy Teapot is a proper gem of a place, making traditional cafe food. The brothers who own it are great and the food they make is brilliant.There’s always a brilliant lively atmosphere and I enjoy it every time we go here. I just need to put some photos up to show it.Parking: Parking outside is tricky but you can park for two hours in nearby Plassey Street.

We tried The Busy Teapot because of the reviews. We were not disappointed. The breakfast was excellent such a wide choice of food with many combinations of what you could have. The food was cooked to perfection well done chef. The homemade pies looked delicious plenty of filling with perfect pastry. If your choice is an afternoon coffee and cake then the cakes also looked amazing. We were visiting Penarth on a family vacation from Toronto, Canada. The two owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. You could tell it was a local favourite and all the customers were friendly as well. Nice and clean! High chairs available for babies/toddlers. Service was fast but felt homemade. Great local spot for your visit to Penarth! Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome!
