Been in quite a few times recently whilst completing a property renovation in the village. There’s a great atmosphere and been made very welcome on every occasion. There’s always a good banter and prices are decent too. Got to give a mention to Angie the landlady. Brings it all together and runs a real pub ?
We have just had 3 fantastic days in Penmaenmawr where we stayed in an Airbnb so we could explore the surrounding area. We frequented this pub each evening and were welcome by Angie/Angela as we were locals. I had my reservations on arrival but Angie was friendly and funny and we had a lot of laughts. We will be returning to the area and will definately be back to see Angie.

Excellent little gem of a pub popped in one evening whilst on holiday ended up going every night after that beer was spot on a proper traditional pub and both the locals and landlady were fantastic friendly and welcoming . A few games of pool later and I was treat like a queen :) great fun would 100 % recommend
