We came at short notice for the afternoon tea. I remember seeing the hotel from the A55 when I first moved to the area almost 2 years ago and remember thinking that it didn't look great from the outside.

This changed when, whilst searching for somewhere that provides afternoon tea (a lot of places seem to require 24 hours notice or more), I discovered that Restaurant 32A offers this. I decided to give it a go and was really glad I did. I booked online around 3 hours before the selected time.

The restaurant states it has undergone a recent renovation and when we arrived the place looked great! Warm and welcoming with comfortable furniture and nice decor.

The girls who served us were very polite and professional and both were constantly smiling. The afternoon tea was presented beautifully and was plenty for two (we had to ask for a box for the scones to take home!). The staff were attentive without over fussing you and ensured there was plenty tea/coffee for us and that we were happy and satisfied. The coffee was also really tasty. We had cappucinos and mochas.

In short, I have nothing negative to say about our experience here and we will be back, both for afternoon tea again and also the Sunday dinners that we saw on the menu as well!
