We came up on Sunday for lunch. My family live in Llantrisant and had heard good things. I had travelled down from Guildford. The pub setting is lovely. It’s old and just how I like it. Old, but clean and welcoming. 200 years old I believe? It was my cousins 40th birthday and we chose to come here. We were welcomed in and shown to our table. Had a family birthday lunch here on Saturday and it was superb! The staff were friendly and welcoming as soon as we arrived. The food was excellent! Fresh, home-cooked & lots of it. Great choice of menu at very reasonable prices. Also spoilt for choice with the desserts menu which were also delicious. We will be back for sure and highly recommend!

We were staying locally whilst visiting the Royal Mint. We booked a table for 6 people. We arrived half way through an England v Wales Rugby game, the pub had a great atmosphere full of locals and a separate dining area for our booked table. The food is fantastic, plentiful and home cooked and very reasonably priced. We loved the local feel of the place, super friendly staff and we had a great time. Thank you.
