“We found this restaurant/pub in two minutes on a Google search. We met family from England there on Saturday. I requested a full English on a pre order and they made one for me even though it wasn't on the current menu. Now that's service!
Great service and beautiful views from the conservatory. I plan to return”

“Chips are lovely, staff are really nice, only downside is never much available, no fish, not much of anything really, still worth a visit.”

“Went to harvester Pontypool and had the best service from Tom, food was lovely and he helped a lot while we was there. Checking everything was ok. My daughter can be a nightmare to take out for food, he was calm with her and offered her some cuddly toys to make her stay comfortable for her! Fab food and fab service, Thankyou Tom:)!”

“we recently visited Usk on a family vacation and wanted to share an amazing experience we had. On our way back from a day out, we found a local Fish & Chip shop called Goyte Fish Bar. From the moment we walk in, we received the warmest of welcomes. They asked if we were locals and after mentioning we were on holiday, they gave us lots of ideas and tips on what to see in the area. Several locals came in while we were waiting and each received a friendly welcome too. The food was amazing, the portions were generous, and service was the best I have ever seen. After our visit I noticed that they appeared in your July edition. I wish we had a chippy like Goyte Fish Bar where I live. They are a credit to the area and I hope others get to experience the welcome that we received. The Howard’s, Reading, Berks.”

“What a vibe, as a clock enthusiast I was in my element. Took me back in ‘time’ to when I was a little girl visiting my nan. The decor was timeless, as a postie my favourite clock is in a small cabinet bottom shelf to the right, you will know which one I’m talking about ?”
