We found this beautiful Inn while on holiday on the canal. The staff were so welcoming and the food was delicious! They made us feel so welcome and made our dog feel at home too! The fire kept us cosy. Can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you! Rascal loved the blanket you provided and the treats! Will definitely be back next year!
As family of four, we stopped by here at the end of a day in the hills. We just googled "nearby restaurants" and this one popped up. We did not book, turning up at around six o'clock starving hungry, and there was some space to park the car. The interior was charming and traditional, warm and nicely lit with some candles and classic pub tables and seating. No booming music or rowdy clientele. Wonderful old pub, unable to give higher mark for atmosphere as we are in the dining area which isn't really atmospheric. Food was lovely & service was fine. Particularly good desserts with generous portions.
