Loved our visit here last night. Not just the food, but the experience as a whole. A warm welcome with fun banter and chat throughout the night. Great selection of drinks including of course some German beers on tap. Sat right next to the cosy fire. HUGE food portions, but so damn tasty and fresh, absolutely first class. So nice to be able to go out and eat something different. I grew up eating German food so this was a real treat. Finished the night with a cocktail and testing...read full review

Wow!!! Can’t believe how lucky I was to find this little gem!! Proper old pub with wide selection of drinks!As for the food, by far the best pub meal I’ve ever had, super fresh and home cooked and huge portions - serious value for money.The landlord and lady complete this little diamond of a place - really hope I find myself in this direction again as will definitely be stopping ?

We love this pub, it's how a pub should look and feel. Never fail to be crying with laughter as Nik is hilarious and the banter is non stop, took friends today for the first time and they loved it too. We ate schnitzel - be very hungry before you eat here as Julia is an amazing and generous cook and the freshly prepared food is more than worth the wait. Cheers m'dears! X
