Pubs in Swansea

“If you're planning on paying a visit to this pub look past previous bad reviews. This pub has been under new management for the past few months, how refreshing. Visited last night with friends, pub was very busy for a Tuesday, luckily we had booked or we may have found it difficult to find an empty table, food was hot, tasty and well presented, all staff were friendly and made sure our meals were satisfactory, 5 empty plates returned to the kitchen, will definitely return”

“Yes the pub was very comfortable on Wednesday night and extremely busy in support of Mike Hutchings a brilliant singer/entertainer. The bar lady was very friendly and very helpful. The customers were excellent creating a very happy atmosphere at the same time arranging bus trips for mini breaks. Drink prices are reasonable. Enjoyed. Recommend a visit.”

“Exceptional food in a wonderful seafront location. Portions are generous and the dessert are homemade. I'd say hidden gem, but it's right on a main road and the promenade so it's as visible as you could possibly make it! Get there!”

“Stopped off for a quick half in here as on a drive through South Wales. We were far from locals but made to feel very welcome. Barmaid was very happy to help. £3 a pint too!”

“Lovely pub. Paula and Darren were very accommodating and they have possibly the best beers in The Mumbles! It was our first time in Mumbles and I’ve tried a couple of pubs but no pubs compare to this pub! It’s a lovely little back street pub & the regulars that go there are very friendly (I’ve been to some pubs across the country and the regulars aren’t as accommodating) but this is a lovely pub and I recommend anyone who is visiting The Mumbles to go here! It is cash only however you will get the best service and meet the best people ever!! 10/10 ?”

“Altough this place is my local I wasn’t sure if they were doing breakfast , because of recent family illness , 5.50 midland breakfast is a steal 2 bacon ( thick) 1 sausage , beans , grilled tomato, mushroom’s and egg with black pudding , it was cooked to perfection toast and coffee or tea ,included in the price , only Friday and Saturday mornings for breakfast but if you are in the area be sure to pop in , Asda and local Wetherspoon are more expensive and for less , can’t compliment this enough , service excellent as well, thoroughly enjoyable experience had by us both .”

“This pub is a hidden gem!! Great atmosphere and an excellent selection of Real Ales. They do not do food and there is no TV so full marks on both counts. Visited twice recently and had a great welcome each time. Well worth a visit”
