I personally feel the food on offer here at the prices charged is overrated and under-delivered on. I live in Surrey and the prices here are similar to there. The menu is more creative than your normal pub but I'm afraid the twice I've been they haven't quite pulled it off through their flavours and textures. Outstandingly excellent restaurant serving exquisite food. Must visit. Staff are wonderful far beyond anything close to normal service. Lloyd you are definitely worth your weight in gold! Cannot wait to return, even if it is via the snow covered mountains of the national park!
Everything about Pen Y Cae Inn is exemplary! The surrounding countryside is breathtaking.
