Really welcoming landlady and team. Came here with our 3 young kids and dog. We've eaten both lunch and dinner here. We've kept coming back because of how welcoming they are. They serve great homecooked pub food. Dog friendly and they serve food all day.
I stopped here for the Sunday roast. The service was very nice and the prices extremely affordable. Food portions were good too. However, I was not completely happy with the Sunday roast. The mash was a bit lumpy. The flavours could have been better.Nevertheless, what was really good about this place was that they had a vegan option. They had a nut roast which my boyfriend ordered. Steve and his lovely wife run a good house here, always a pleasure to visit for food and drink. Good staff to boot.Kid-friendliness: They provide for everyone, the place was banged out.
