Stayed for 2 nights at the Belgrave with a group of 30 ladies on a half board basis - there were no complaints from any of our group. The welcome from Max, the owner, was warm and humorous and we really appreciated having our bags carried to our rooms (luggage labels had been sent in advance). Amazing hotel, will definitely return. Friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us, anything we asked for, they couldn't do enough. Lovely food, breakfast was the best we've had. Catered for everyone, children selection which was great ?? hotel room was old fashioned but it gives you that feel, couldn't complain as it set you back which we liked! The setting of this restaurant is lovely, we had a table in the window overlooking Caldey. The server was just right and very helpful and the food was fantastic, we ate the lot! Our only criticism was that the main course food was served in enamel dishes and plates which certainly doesn't suit the dining experience, it's what you would use when camping! Last time we visited they used china which I hope they go back to. Much better suited in my opinion.
