Went to Donnie's for the first time and had breakfast - ordered a small breakfast and a veggie breakfast. Sat in the marquee outside.Food was great, service was good (very friendly staff), price is very good. Coffees were great - all round great experience.However only reason I'm giving it 4 stars not 5 is the use of paper plates and takeaway cups instead of normal plates and mugs. It seemed very bizarre in this day and age to have disposable items as a default, so if that changed...read full review

Visited multiple times for breakfast and a coffee. Fantastic little place with lovely staff and a very fun and cheerful atmosphere. Definitely recommended if you are in the area. Thank you!Kid-friendliness: High chairs available and staff universally great with kids

We left Newport heading home but needed a bite to eat. Stopped off at this lovely village and found this cafe. It's small friendly cafe that does great baguettes and cakes. Brought the cakes home for our daughter who thought they were wonderful. Definitely recommend
