I’m not one to leave reviews but I couldn’t not for our experience at the Holybush. I booked here for a surprise 30th birthday meal with over 30 guests and I just wanted to say how amazing everyone at the Holybush made it! Came here xmas eve as we have done the past few years as the food is lovely and big portions.Unfortunately there was no effort to put table cloths down or actually lay the tables before we got there.We were just handed a mug with cutlery and napkins in on Christmas eve!!!as a family of 4 with 2 young children the bill came to over £120 .For the amount we all pay nowadays for food eating out is a treat and the whole experience needs to be worth it not only the food.To conclude,food...read full review
Been here for the Xmas fayre (last year) & tonight; really good food, with plenty of veg (carrots, peas roast/new potatoes, cabbage, parsnips). Meat cooked well, & reasonably priced wine & beer. Relaxed & pleasant staff (thanks Nia & Steve). We live local, so it's nice to have a good local pub to go to when we don't feel like cooking!
