We didn't know the area but wanted something to eat. We googled Pubs near Atherstone and the Black Horse came up. When, we drove up I nearly drove on, as from the outside it didn't look too good. Boy am I glad we didn't. We were greeted in the car park by the Landlord and Landlady who were very friendly and informative, making us feel at home straight away.This place was amazing, a small restaurant laid up like a 5 star one would be. Tobias and lyndsey are brilliant have had several excellent meals there today a beautiful special Sunday lunch nothing is too much trouble Tobias is an excellent chef with extremely high standards and lyndsey ensure your whole experience is excellent see you again soon

New managers. Food excellent, went for sunday lunch. I am so fussy about Sunday lunch dining out. Have to say I was really impressed. I had the Turkey, only thing let it down was , there was no stuffing. Everything else was really tasty and well cooked. Husband had the beef, melted in the mouth.
