We booked Christmas Day lunch for three at the Bird in the Hand. On the day one of our party was taken ill, and I rang and asked if the Restaurant could convert our booking into something I could collect and eat at home. Excellent country pub of the best quality. Will certainly visit again, and will never bypass Tamworth without stopping in and saying hello to the friendly staff and having a good beer and meal.
