Great place, been popping in for nigh on 40 years, it's had its ups and downs over that time, remember the Curry Pub disaster? Alas, it's on track now, cracking menu, good staff and welcoming. Tried the Guest Ale, bit whiffy? But, tasted fine, went onto a Heineken after...
Lovely atmosphere, food is good especially the puddings. Reasonably priced food and drinks. It can get very busy at the weekend so recommend booking in advance.Parking: There is a good sized car park but can fill up at the weekend quickly.Kid-friendliness: I believe they have an outdoor kids area.
