Five of us booked for a Wednesday lunchtime. Pub was quite busy but not overly so. Bar service was good, waitress very efficient and the food came within about 20 minutes. The great thing with this pub is the quality and price of the food. Always very well cooked and presented and excellent value. i.e. a good portion of scampi, chips & peas was £9.95. Lovely place. Consistently tasty, well presented food. Friendly staff, very reasonable prices. If you want to eat nice food & chat with your friends & family with lovely views without hearing gambling machines or loud music this is the place for you.Wheelchair accessibility: One entrance has one step & a grab rail the other entrance has a ramp & access through patio door. No steps within the restaurant & plenty of space to manoeuvre

Am used to enjoying excellent service and excellent food at this lovely restaurant....but....the gammon steak I had last week was truly exceptional...well cooked...and extremely tasty. Expect to always make this choice on future visits!!
