Haven’t been to the Red Lion for a while, but thought to pop in and try it out mid week. Staff were friendly, attentive as was the landlady. Service quick as well. The food is a mix of traditional fayre and local options, with a menu that should cater for most tastes. Had the Schnitzel, which was tasty and well portioned. Desserts were really good as well. Visited yesterday with my husband to meet friends for lunch. The owner was very friendly and chatted with us until our friends arrived.The portions of food were both generous and delicious. Fantastic location and will definitely visit in the summer. Thank you.

A weekend stay with good friends.Room 1 (of 2) is perfect for a getaway. Comfortable bed. Excellent facilities. Great bathroom. Really quiet too.Hosts were outstanding. Couldn't do enough for us.Breakfast was huge (both choice and portions) and really tasty ?Local beer ? is really well kept (try the Gold).Loved our time here. We hope to come back
