We stayed on our way down from Yorkshire to Dorset and also on our way back. The pub is superb with top class beer, staff and food. Nice stone floors which let the dog cool down in the hot weather and a private garden at the back where the dog can play. We are going again in October and will stay at the Sun both ways again.
03 September 2023 We had an excellent Sunday lunch. Everything about the experience was good. Great tasting food and nicely presented, along with pleasant and cheerful wait staff. In addition, the Sunn Inn had a very pleasant and relaxing ambience. Pricing of food is also a bit tasty, but acceptable providing they can keep the standards up.

Fantastic, excellent bar with lots of drink choice. The staff were great, all so friendly and accommodating nothing with to much trouble. The lovely waitress we had (I think her name was Immy) kept apologising to us about the wait as they had a large table in. She was such a pleasant young lady. However considering that the wait wasn’t too bad at all and the food was certainly worth the wait. Great beer garden. Dog friendly, all round great little gem!
