Stumbled on this amazing place whilst on a walk from our nearby hotel Salford Hall. Another nearby establishment (the Bell Inn or was it another name ?) which we visited was less than hospitable so this was a great find! Friendly staff, a fabulous real fireplace as we entered so lovely & cosy & just enjoyed the best carvery Sunday Roast ever! stayed in a local hotel to the vineyard a few hundred yards away. This is a great little pub with the best pint of guinness around. the owners and locals very friendly with a small cafe connected to the pub serving lovely food. Highly recommended if you are looking for a cheaper alternative to hotel prices. Will return and thanks to all. Happy christmas. Pete/Ann
