The food was very good but the service needs some training. They young girls were very nice but took a while to take our dirty plates away and ask about desert . By then we had gone past wanting desert. I think maybe we went at an awkward time as a lot of the staff were coming into kitchen and taking there dinners out to another room so left just one young girl setting up tables so maybe that should be staggered. We booked for a Sunday lunch as a belated special occasion and were not disappointed. This was our first visit to Salford Hall Hotel and Tempest restaurant, the setting is outstanding, the restaurant is fabulous and the food is amazing. The waiting staff are extremely polite, friendly and attentive. It was a truly memorable dining experience and we are both looking forward to making a return visit in the not too distant future.

Didn't get our glass of perseco and the apples in the pudding had skin on why ?? But overall the food was good the beef had been cooked very well could have done we the veg separate
