A delightfully quaint village shop with a wide range of fresh produce. It's a breath of fresh air against the mass brands like the Co-Op and Tesco. The staff are wonderful and welcoming.

Absolutely brilliant - excellent service, wonderful array of supplies - everything you could want from a village store and more. Very helpful staff going above and beyond, with great quality products couldn’t be happier with my experience over the last year. thank you!

Perfect stop off point when you’re out on your bike. Great coffee and cakes, lots of seating, a safe place to leave your bike and a water tap to fill up your bottles.

I visited here yesterday afternoon with my dtr, as I'm local(ish) I thought I'd check the store out as it sold local produce.I bought some cheese, buffalo ice cream and a card. The woman who served us was very rude, her customer service skills were non existent, she spoke barely 2 words, and when I asked for a receipt fished the card receipt out of the basket on the counter and threw it across the counter to me.3 stars are because the variety of produce is good. For service it would be 1 star.I won't be returning.

What a lovely village general store! Aside from the large stock of everything that one might need for village life, there was also a small cafe which served possibly the finest bacon baguette I've ever had (very good quality bacon and lots of it). Somewhat surreal to be in this quintessentially English shop on the morning of Charles III coronation.
