This is a beautiful restaurant set in a lovely village. It was a old ,wet Monday evening and quiet.The dining room was cosy with a wood burning stove.Service was attentive and the food was delicious.It would be lovely to return.
How embarrassing to admit that we have not revisited this wonderful eatery for 13 years. Our wedding lunch was held here and we have fond memories of a wonderful meal and overall experience. Today was no different, the restaurant felt warm and cosy and the service was exceptional without being intrusive. Alison and her "trainee" made the experience even more delightful. We went here for my birthday could not fault the food I know it a bit pricey but it was cooked to a very high standard. Also the staff very attentive asking did we enjoy the meal and helpful. My only complaint was how cold it was I know it an old building and appreciate that but think you could have had some more heaters for the place to be warm
