The food was very good but the service needs some training. They young girls were very nice but took a while to take our dirty plates away and ask about desert . By then we had gone past wanting desert. I think maybe we went at an awkward time as a lot of the staff were coming into kitchen and taking there dinners out to another room so left just one young girl setting up tables so maybe that should be staggered. Besides that the food was excellent and would defeat go back again Jane

We both had the same meals - the pork followed by Eton Mess which were very tasty and nicely prepared. The service was very good also.

We booked for a Sunday lunch as a belated special occasion and were not disappointed. This was our first visit to Salford Hall Hotel and Tempest restaurant, the setting is outstanding, the restaurant is fabulous and the food is amazing. The waiting staff are extremely polite, friendly and attentive. It was a truly memorable dining experience and we are both looking forward to making a return visit in the not too distant future.

Didn't get our glass of perseco and the apples in the pudding had skin on why ?? But overall the food was good the beef had been cooked very well could have done we the veg separate

We had a brilliant three course Easter Sunday meal. Every course was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was lovely and the setting is beautiful.

It's a beautiful historical building and the restaurant is well decorated and welcoming! The Easter Sunday roast was delicious and well prepared. We enjoyed our meals with a glass of house red wine which is very nice! The service staff is friendly but need to work on attentiveness to note the time to serve the food; as we waited quite long for our main course! For sure there's room for improvements but overall we had a lovely time

Amazing food. Not a huge menu, but big enough. Every single mouthwatering mouthful was utterly delicious. A very talented chef accompanied by excellent and friendly waiting staff. First class!
