“We stopped at the Saxon Mill on a Sunday evening for a Sunday roast whilst we were in the area. The pub had a lovely aesthetic, and ambience, and was relatively quiet for a Sunday evening.We sat down and ordered using the mobile ordering which was simple enough. The food was very good quality, with lovely tender beef and a nice selection of vegetables. We also had an apple crumble for dessert which was delicious too.The staff were friendly, but the service was a little haphazard, with things like cutlery not being offered or on the table.Overall, it was a lovely Sunday roast and I would certainly come back for another in the future!”
