“The waitress immediately brought the menu's over and took our drinks order while we chose what we wanted. We decided on fish/chips & smashed peas ? a chicken dish, Calamari and a burger. Chips as a side. We were all very happy with our choices. The food was delicious. All nice and hot, not soaked in oil, lots of flavour. The waitress checked we had everything we needed, always with a smile. Definitely recommend ??”

“Went for a late afternoon Sunday lunch. Service and food ran very smoothly and we sat out on the decking which has lovely views. Only reason for 3 stars for atmosphere is that it was a bit quiet at this time of day. Probably much busier at the 1pm lunch time period.”

“Food was lovely. There was an issue with one meal, chips were cold when they arrived. But the staff, albeit quite busy, were so lovely and rectified the plate without hesitation. Will definitely go back. Thank you .”

“Travelling on the canal we moored and took drinks and an evening meal here. Good service and nice hearty food. Being a little absent minded I left some money and a credit card behind. The staff very helpfully took care of the situation and sent everything back to me.”
