My train was cancelled so I popped in here to wait and grab a drink. They were really friendly and it felt a lovely, safe place as a woman on my own. They were also playing seriously good music!
That is a truly uplifting story but always two sides. When I vist the UK I have a pint in the railway it has always been friendly and fun. I have been in with my daughter and been welcomed. The bar staff and landlord have been excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend for a relaxing drink and watching the cricket or football.
