The Hornet - JD Wetherspoon provides excellent and friendly service, making it a great place for families with kids. The staff are lovely, and prices are reasonable. The restaurant serves a variety of meals, including burgers and steaks, which can be enjoyed near the open doors on a good day. On occasion, minor mistakes have occurred, but the staff are quick to rectify the issue. The desserts are delicious, and the customer service is top-notch, with staff willing to replace meals if not to the customer's liking. A great value meal can be had, such as two steaks, chips, salad, onion rings, a pint, and a soft drink for £23.
