Cosy modern interior design to an extremely historic venue. Obviously renovated numerous times, but you can still sense the history. there are helpful info blurbs dotted around the building. We stayed last night as we were visiting Birmingham for a night to attend a music concert at the o2 Institute. The welcome we received was warm and friendly from the guy behind the bar and although they were clearly busy it didn't take long for us to be shown to our room. We upgraded to the Quadruple room last minute and I am so glad we did as it was gigantic as was the bathroom!! Had a wonderful stay at this very old hotel. What it lacks because it's old, it add up with its charm. Really happy old places like this still exist and you can experience it by sleeping here.
