Arrived here on a busy Saturday evening We didn’t have a reservation but it wasn’t a problem. From start to finish everything was just perfect. 10/10 staff 10/10 food 10/10 comfort Will definitely visit this restaurant next time we are in Birmingham.
I had great hopes for a great meal as I’d had a lovely meal in York Zizzi having just been diagnosed with gluten and dairy intolerance. The waitress there was really helpful and I was impressed that much of the menu could be adapted to my diet. Unfortunately when I went to the Mailbox Zizzi in Birmingham. I felt rather disappointed. We were in the restaurant for less than an hour but managed to have 4 different servers, none of who seemed interested in being there! The salmon pasta was very average, and the pasta was over cooked, left most of it but didn't get a chance to comment as the plate was whisked away, and nobody asked how the meal was. Definitely won't be returning.
