My husband and I had a lovely lunch time meal at the Lodge ( shipways).The carvery was so very nice and beautiful cooked. The desert had plenty of choice, I had apple pie and custard which was delicious, my husband had the jam sponge ? which was delicious ?The staff where all very nice and helpful and friendly. Went to the lodge for a 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration. I have been there many times and as always the food was beautiful, the staff efficient friendly and cheerful, and the atmosphere created very fitting for the celebration.

Went with friend for birthday carvery, was the best experience ever, brilliant meal, wonderful friendly service will definitely returning when I have the chance, nothing was to much trouble, had a take away for my husband so he didn't miss out he also said what a brilliant meal it was to thank you.
