Had the taster menu last night - exquisite tastes in every course - attractively presented and all dishes fully explained. The team members were polite, professional, knowledgeable and helpful.
Our visit last night was by way of a double celebration. My mother in law hitting 91! and my step son becoming a Doctor. The stakes were therefor high. Cheals didn’t disappoint. We’d been here twice before in the days when it was called Jacques and had on both occasions left feeling that we had probably just dined at the best restaurant in this part of the midlands. Last night proved that the merger between the two restaurants hadn’t caused any damage at all to the place....read full review

Cheals is a fantastic business, family run and with a real sense of friendliness. It has moved fairly recently from a very small venue in Henley in Arden to Knowle high street, where the Jaques premises have allowed Cheals to shine even more brightly. We have never had a bad experience there. And the choice of several menus means you can choose as long or short a meal as suits the time and mood.
